Our program pairs attentive, high-quality instruction with small-group settings designed to keep every learner engaged, supported, and moving forward. Whether your child needs structured daily academics, supplemental subject support, or you are exploring homeschooling for the first time, we offer a clear, approachable path forward.

Ms. Swallie brings over 20 years of teaching experience and a global perspective to her work, having studied abroad at Karl Franzens University in Austria before earning Bachelor degrees in Linguistics and German from the University of Utah. After moving extensively around the world, she and her family settled in Las Vegas, where she earned a Master of Education in Instructional Design from Western Governors University.

Ms. Plummer holds a Master of Education in Elementary Education and Curriculum, as well as a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Services. A Las Vegas local for over 30 years, she is married and the proud mother of a son, a Destination Scholar himself. She is deeply committed to building strong relationships with her students and their families.

Ms. Blackwell has been an educator since 2006 and brings over a decade of classroom experience to Destination Scholars. As a former dancer, she loves incorporating movement and music into her teaching. Her exceptional organizational skills keep her classroom running smoothly and contribute to a welcoming environment for every student. Her diverse background in the arts and education makes her uniquely positioned to lead the Destination Scholars Community Enrichment program.

Ms. Howard has been in education since 2008, with experience spanning special education, intervention services, and multiple grade levels. A graduate of Arizona Western College and Arizona Computer Institute, she grew up in Arizona, married her high school sweetheart, and is the mother of four children.

Ms. Lance received her teaching degree from St. Cloud State College in Minnesota, where she began her teaching career before relocating to Las Vegas. She is married, has two children, and enjoys hiking, reading, crocheting, and knitting.

Ms. Martinez brings a wealth of hands-on experience and a deep passion for early childhood education to Destination Scholars. Her commitment to professional growth and in-depth understanding of developmental milestones makes her a beloved educator. She is a mother of two, including one Destination Scholar, and enjoys pickleball and fishing with her family.
